Anybody out there who left and Phippines and migrated somewhere else? I am. I now live in one of the coldest country in the world - Canada! Its winter time and its freezing here.
What do you miss most about the Philippines?
I live in Manila so im used to the hustle and bustle and the busy streets. Seeing peddlers and kids around. I miss the street foods!!! The so called "isaw"!!! I miss Jollibee, Chowking, Max Fried Chicken, La Paz Batchoy...name it. Im dying to eat all the native filipino dishes. We have some here but still it taste different in the Philippines.
And i also missed the politics!!!We Filipinos are kind hearted and just laughed even at hard times. Iba ang Pinoy!!!

I just left Philippines 3months ago and here in US now, and you could guess, Im still on a adjusting stage, and it's really hard. I think it's easy to get used to things here, but what's hard is missing the people you left, our family and friends. I miss the streetfoods, and being near to market and food chains, it would just take me 5mins to get to Mcdonalds and Jollibee and the supermarkets, and just a minute walk to go to 7-Eleven..But here, it takes a 30 minute drive just to go downtown and see the stores and the malls (small malls).
