2bux.com was in pre-launch state till 1st Feb 08. It was another paid to click site . It was offering $2 for each referral that joins in the pre-launch state ( conditions apply ) . Now today 31st Jan , its gone . After collecting contact info of thousands of people who want to earn money . Now what should we call this one a SCAM or what ? Please give your opinions :)

Why does this not surprise me? I heard of m2bux in another forum, & people there said it would be a waste of time. What about the first bux? I am a member of that, but wonder if I am wasting my time with that one? Have you been paid by them?

Hi, Sad to say, ANYTHING that announces itself with a "prelaunch" is likely to be built on a flimsy premise, if not an outright scam. Just stop and think - what exactly is the idea of a "prelaunch"? It's to get hordes of lemmings piling into the scheme before it's shown any viability at all. It doesn't HAVE to pay anything out to anyone, the "prelaunch" yields mountains of eager members, all panting in anticipation of the payouts that never come. The "prelaunch" thing got started, as I recall, with a shonky ponzi-type scam a couple years back - ProWealth Solutions, I believe it was called. Lots and lots of money pocketed by the inner circle on THAT one. And the ringleaders from that scam-fest went on to create more get-rich-quick pyramid-type schemes, often piggy-backed onto otherwise legitimate marketing initiatives with involvement by big-name retailers (to give it credibility and to suck people in), and ALWAYS with a big fat "prelaunch" phase to make sure there were teeming hordes of members crawling all over each other to try to score some cash. Now THOSE guys were (are) PROFESSIONALS... professional scamsters, for lack of a better phrase... very polished and sophisticated in their methods, and applying the lessons leaned from each new venture to suck even MORE profit off their NEXT big pyramid scheme. Bottom line - if it has a "prelaunch", my suggestion is don't walk - RUN in the opposite direction.
