Hello to all I have just become the owner of two Bearded Dragons they are five months old. I also have two leopard tortoises they are two years old. Do you have any exotic pets and if so what are they?

I raise tropical fish for a hobby now. In my youth I used to have many animals as "pets" including coyotes, owls. gophers. kangaroo rats, snakes, lizards and many others. They were not exotic in that they were animals that I caught as a teenager growing up in the Texas panhandle.

many thanks for the response, I too had tropic fish some years back they are so relaxing my favourite was a silver shark he grew to about 12 inches, you are so lucky to have grown up with such beautiful creatures its a shame the only way some of us see them are either on the tv, zoos or wildlife parks,my grandson has a small corn snake and he loves the Tortoises and Beardies tc

I* don't, but I would love to have a tortoise! I don't know why... it just seems like a neat pet to have. Do they interact with you?

hi thanks for your input yes they do interact quite cleverly really, as they dont hibernate I have the company of them all year round. They know when its feeding time and let me know when they want to come out of the viv and stroll around the living room. They also love their bath twice a week, if you are thinking of having one just do some research online. There are different breeds some are meat eaters and others are herbivores.
