What can you say about the ending?

Hello guys who have watched the movie of Silent Hill! Played the game? Finished the endings of each one? While watching the movie, I thought that the leading female character should've went to a save point before progressing further but, there she went, not even treating her wounds or taking first aid hehee well, she wasn't able to pick anything like that, and so we ended with an ending that seems unsettled. I mean, we know its not a game wherein we could just load our last game save and continue differently. They would've made another movie with different actions made by the same lead female actress just to have an alternate ending but, that would be costly. Anyway, can you think of other alternate endings for the film?
