A programmer seems always have to work a long time in order to survive in the fast changing world of IT.Though the absolute salary is higher than other industry but the money we earn per hour is not higher at all.The programmer is suffering from great pressures. I think the health condition of most programmers is not good enough.Do the programmers in other countries feel the same? Or this only happens in my country?

When a person opts for this field he should be completely different he should enjoy what he is doing. IT also makes persons to retire early in their job. People should leave programming field at an age of thirty to thirty five and learn to enjoy being a trainer or chosing other parts of this field.

I think the person who works as a programmer must really enjoy his job...I have many friends who are programmers and even though they draw high salary, they really work like no tomorrow, especially when they have projects with extremely tight deadlines...
And needless to say, they don't have much leisure time of their own which is unhealthy in many sense....
For me, I enjoyed programming for a while before I grew bored with it....maybe its lucky for me not being a programmer...
