Music theraphy seems to be a good source for inspiration to writers. Today after listening to a japanese symphony orchestra my minds seems to have a good flow of thought. Last New Years Eve, I also happen to listen to another good classical music in orchestra and I fell asleep with the music. The next day I seem to have more inspiration to write with much pleasure.

I really think music is great to listen to while writing. But I think the type of music you listen to, depends on what you write. I also think that what kind of mood you are looking for makes a difference when I write. If I am - for example - writing a love scene, I listen to softer easy-going music, where if I am writing a fight scene, I listen to harder things.
Each person also has their own preference, and music has a different affect on different people. But I think it is a great tool for writers to use.

Music is good therapy if it's the right kind. Music you can feel.......
Another good source of inspiration to writers are the numerous discussions here. All one has to do is take the time out to do nothing but read. Don't answer any discussions while you're trying to find the inspiration. Just read as many discussions and responses as you can. They give you some terrific inspiration.
If you can't find inspriration here at mylot, you're not looking very hard.
People are so fascinating.

I love music. I feel very inspired as I listen to music. I listen to different genres depending on my current mood. Right this very moment, I am listening to Chuck Mangione's music and I am really very much perked up!
