noooooooooo way aconite, are you really had nightmares because of watching horror movies?? believe me there are no horror movies, its not horror, they use a special music and in a action event, they made the music loud to make us afraid :S i don't know , if you are very delicate ( that is clear) , you have to stop watching movies like this

I don't have nightmares from watching horror movies.
Worse, I get to imagine things in real life - for example if I have to enter a dark room I imagine that inside there's the latest thing that scared me :) So much so that after I see something really scary I cannot bear to sit in the dark (which means I have to sleep with my lights on, LOL).

yeah, it happened one time and i was still small back then, i woke up in the middle of the night and got really scared because the movie that i have watched appeared in my dream and it is me that the one who is being chased by the monster or the zombies, something like that. XD

Yes! One of my major fears is aliens; I've never watched ET, even when I was a kid because I was scared. I've had nightmares after watching Close Encounters of the 3rd kind and Signs. I know they're not horror movies, but I'm just terrified of aliens, lol.

Definately..I watched Silence of the lambs when I was about 8 and it terrified me at the end when it said about hannibal lecter still being alive and REAL!. From that moment on I thought anyone could be him. I love horror movies now though, Saw(s) all time best horrors. :]

My only real experience with this, that I can remember, was when I saw the Blair Witch Project in college. about 20 monutes in, I started feeling sick because of the constant camera motion, so I mostly listened tothe movie and closed my eyes. I did watch the very end, though, wiht the guy in the corner of the basement; and that image really stuck with me when I went back to my *basement* apartment. Had a hard time getting to sleep, and kept waking up. I think if I hadn't gotten ill from the movie, it would not have been as bad, though.

I never did get nightmares watching scary movies when I was a kid. I use to get a little freaked out from time to time though. Even now when I watch them I get a little flipped out. I watched a movie the other night, I forget the name of it though lol. Anyways when the movie was over I needed to take my 3 year old son (who LOVES horror movies) up to bed and I was scared to go up because I was afraid something would get me. Hubby laughs at me!!!

My mom used to show me scary movies when I was a kid. I really wish she hadnt shown me movies like Carrie and Nightmare on Elm St. cus i can still remember scenes from them like they were embedded into the back of my mind. At least I can tolerate scary movies now and dont have to worry about being scared by any of them ^_^
