shopping for non-shoppers

I'm not much of a shopper. I have more junk than I want already. When the kids ask what I want for a Christmas gift, I tell them, "Just pictures of the grandkids. I have one of everything that sells for under $1000 already. Wait till you're rich and famous and then I'll give you my wish list: A Lear Jet, a BMW convertible, a 40 foot yacht, two vacation homes: one in Punte del Este and the other in Andorra, etc., etc." But I have noted in passing that there are some real bargains at the retailers I have visited since Christmas. Apparently there response to the impending recession. Happy shopping to those who do enjoy it! There are some bargains out there---for things you need and can use!
