Hello my dear friends in mylot!c",) I hope you all have a good day! we all know that valentines day is approaching, i wonder what could i give my family on this very special day! A day of love not just for lovers but specially for my family whom i love most... Do you have plans this valentines day? Can you share ideas on what to give my family? hi mycharm! ^__^ Valentine's day is just like an ordinary day for us. we really don't celebrate it. but i think when i was in grade school, my teacher would tell us to make valentine ornaments that we displayed in our houses. we were also told to make greeting cards for our loved ones and i used to make one for my mother. that was valentine's day for me. but when i reached high school, i think 3rd or 4th year, there wasn't anything like that anymore. the same case with my youngest sister. since then there wasn't anything that we do during that day even greet each other. ^__^ however i could suggest that you cook something special for your family if you are going to give them something. your own cooking i guess would be a great gift. ^__^

well, you could cook your specialty dish or their favorite dish or a new dish that they haven't tasted. you could pick from those three option. ^__^ good luck!

Now most of my 'children' are grown I will occassionally, money permittin, get a small stuffed animal and box of candy for each of my grandchildren. There have been a few times when I would bake a special cake - either heart shaped or decorated with little red heart candies. The kids loved this when they were young.

Oh I still have cards my children made for me when they were young - right now their all in a box with other keepsakes but someday I want to put them all in a scrape book.

Just give them a day of dedicated love and affection, spend some time together!;) I don't know what to give my family, since I really cannot find any material things I could give to each and everyone of them. So I just decided to make my usual daily routine "extra" special, everything I'd do will be served and prepared with LOVE!;)

i don't celebrate valentines day because everyday for me is valentines day. i do not need to wait for the day to come, i make it happen everyday. on valentines day would be just any other day for us with the family, just having fun being together.

We use to celebrate valentines day when we were dating but not so much nowadays. It's just a normal day for us. My sons class is having a valentines party so I will be volunteering on that day and also providing valentines for each of his class members - should be fun.

You can surprise them by buying their favorite food; like ice, chocolate cake or cook something for them. I know you love to make that yummy spaghetti that you cook for us here in the office, im sure they would greatly appreciate that, Advance Happy valentine's day.
