I am sorry that I cann't help you,but the only thing I can tell you is that you can learn it as the same way as you learn any other foreign language or even your mother tonque.

that is to say,i can try comparing my mother lauguage with france.maybe that is a good method.but after learning france half of month,i find the method is not suitable for me.i think that is coz there are so many characteristics in france, especially about the verb.at the begining of learning france,i just wanna enjoy it but never wanna get any benefit from it.maybe that is not so simple, what i need to do is how to enjoy it or find the interest of learning it.at last, wish you"Bonne fete du sprintemps".

I learned how to speak French back in high school. It is a very difficult language to grasp at first. Technique's work different for different people. If you are going at this alone you will need to check on audio tapes and books for beginners. If you have a college that teaches French for beginners I suggest enrolling in that class if you have the funds to do so.
To this day I have never made it to France and would love to. It's one of the places I want to visit before I die. I still speak it once in awhile just so I won't forget how to speak it. I spent 3 yrs of my life learning so why lose it?

maybe we both have such a feeling wanting to go to france when we choose to learn france.in my opinion,no matter what we study,we should get in to the interest of learning it.but the problem is how to get in to the interest.somebody told me not to learn sth new,for it is so hard to start to do it.after all,i am starting, and i donot want to give up when i have not felt the hardness...thank you for your response, and"Bonne fete du sprintemps",if you are chinese or you know sth about China.
