I tend to reply more as I only like to create a topic if i really think I have something interesting to say and I find it hard to think of something.

i have days like that too. It can be time consuming. when you finish up your time here you suddenly realize I didn't ask anything! Lol Other times you ask, and ask to no avail, You don't get an answer. but reading from different people is a great way to learn!

I find myself answering discussion questions a lot of the time as well. In life other than the internet, I'm a listener by choice. So I guess on myLot I get to put my two cents worth in and it's kind of nice to be so chatty. I also like to read the discussions. The exposure to this plethora of ideas from different parts of this country and other parts of the world is great for my brain - gets the silly old thing thinking. And as a people watcher in public, I like the variety of ages, points of view and so on here....Whit

I prefer to reply. I hardly ever have anything interesting to start a discussion about. I try and think of things but, nothing hardly ever comes to mind. Plus, it's harder when you start a discussion because then you have to make sure that you reply to everyone who replies to you.

when I first signed up at mylot I found myself answering questions because there were a lot of topics I was really interested in, sometimes I just find it really fun.. plus I also like giving my two cents worth..then eventually I got the hang of posting topics myself--I love it when people respond to the topics I posted or respond to the answers i give to questions--
