What is our purpose and where is our ultimate destination!

We are born, fed, then educated. We get employed, buy a car, find our sweetheart, get married and buy a house. We make babies, feed them, get them educated and the cycle goes on for ever and ever. Where are we heading to? We are going no where and everybody is doing the same. The main reason for all this fuss is to chase after money or else we will not be able to sustain this forever cycle. Some add more colours to this cycle. They buy a mansion (basically still a house) and drive flashy luxury cars (the purpose is still for transport). They go abroad for leisure, travel, more successful in their money chase. Some add more excitement in their cycle. They shorten their cycle by drinking and smoking and having more than one mate for pleasure. Where does this all lead to? Everybody is going to the same destination but taking different routes. Isn't there anything different that could be introduced to change all this boring cycle? What is our ultimate destination. The religious will have a lot to criticise on this.

Hi! Probably it depends on what you think of this question: do you believe in God? I am not able to answer in a correct and usefull way. I don't really know.

They have done studies and papers about this type of thing in humans and animals from microscopic to the largest. The needs we have start at food, shelter, then health, survival. Once we have those we can pursue other interests. Everything beyond those 3 are just distractions. The main purpose of life is to find distractions that please us. Some make a lifetime pursuit of a distraction, some just a daily excursion. Some are so busy supplying the 3 necesseties they can't pursue any distractions.
