Now a days they have started quick messengers for the cellphones. My cousin in south africa showed me this cool wap application for you cellphone. It was created in south africa but it seems to be working for me. You download the application and then you can chat to anybody that also has mxit and is registered. Just like MSN. Also through Mxit you can add all of your MSN contacts aswell as you ICQ nad so on.
I also found another cell phone application called bing, this one might be more popular since it was made for international users more then just national. same thing just a little bit differently built from eachother.
If you want to get them you can download them from you cellphone browser, just type in:
MXit: wap.mxit.co.za and follow the instructions to the download
Bing: wap.bing.im
I am sure alot of you will ask about the cost. It is really cheap trust me if you would only use one of these applications then I am sure monthly you will spend about 2$... maybe evan less much less...
Hope you will check it out?!!

I'm going to tell you about a goog mobile application. With this application you can see you nearby friends, invite them to join you at your favourite places: you can send them free sms or receive sms alerts from them. You can automatically detect other mobile devices and send them messages and files.
Here is the free registration link: http://tinyurl.com/mvs8yw
