Well there are most likely a lot of people out there that go to the movies to see a really good movie.
But what your not expecting is that the movie bombs out and is nothing like what you thought it would be. So you basically just spent about 2-3 hours watching this stupid movie but you couldn't take yourself away from it thinking that it will eventually get better and it never did.
One of the movies that I thought did this was The English Patient . Was there any particular movie that did this to you?

I hate movies that don't make any sense but they are still good as long as there is enough action in the film to keep it interesting.

I've heard a lot of David Lynch and his unconventional methods in directing films, so I decided to see Mullholland Drive because it was a big deal when I was a film student. I saw the movie and I have to say that it still does not make much sense to me. I could not wrap my head to follow the entire film, and every subsequent time I have tried to watch it I end up still confused. It's funny because the DVD even comes with a guide with clues to help you follow along and I still don't know really what the movie is about or what is going on. Although I am determined to find out and watch it again until I can get the movie. Hahaha...

There's a movie called "The Hanging Garden." I've watched it a number of times, and I still don't get it. The plot is that a gay man goes back home after 10 years to attend his sister's wedding. Everything goes nuts from there. There's a garden, in which the man keeps seeing himself as a chbby teenager hanging from a tree. He and his sister's future husband, were once lovers. His mother runs away right after the wedding and isn't seen again. His father also sees the hanging chubby guy and gets very upset when he chops it down. The little girl that his sister is raising turns out to be his. And the dysfunction that was his childhood is never resolved.
If you get the chance, watch this film and if you get it, let me know.

I think the movie was called Bug or something like that. I'm not sure because the experience was so traumatic that I have blocked it out.
Yes that movie was certainly a waste and that is 112 minutes of my life I will never get back.
