GROUNDHOG DAY (FEB. 2): Ready for spring or still wishing winter sticks around?

Tomorrow is Groundhog's Day. For those who don't know what that is, every year a group of people wait for a groundhog to come out of his hole and to see if he (or she) sees their own shadow. If they do see their shadow, then winter will last for 6 more weeks. If the groundhog does not see its shadow, then the end of winter comes. Regardless of whether or not you believe in this, the question is if you are looking forward to spring or not. Do you hope winter stays a bit longer, or are you ready for the flowers to bloom? Personally, I love snowboarding and playing in the snow, but spring is my favorite season. Beach time! What about all of you in myLot world?

We dont practise Groundhogs Day in Australia. In fact until recently, I had never heard of it. I think there is a movie about it which I haven't seen, but would quite like too. How does this Groundhogs Day originate? We are in the middle of summer, & I am not keen for autumn to begin. I love summer.

I cant wait for spring, winters been here too long. Thhis past weekend we got about inches of snow over here and the worst part is that it all melted. This sounds nice but the i cant stand how much slush there is everywhere. I can walk anywhere with boots becasue right under a layer of seemingly frozen snow lies a puddle a really cold puddle. So having said al this bring on spring.

That groundhog better not see his shadow tomorrow. I am very much looking forward to spring. I hate the winter months. We got about 5 inches of snow last night that I am hating right now.

Yes I am looking forward to spring. Yesterday we had a storm. It dumped 8 inches of snow on us. Watching everyone dig there cars out made me feel spring is far off. Too far way. I guess we will see tomorrow.
