Who liked the new movie The Simpsons and Why

I just love certain bits in the film where its just genius like at the start where they are watching the itchy and scratchy movie and homer gets up and says something like why are we watching something we can at home for free its so ironic and i love it! its not the best ever made and they are probably milking it a bit but who cares

i loved the simpsons movie. i didn't think it was the best film ever - but i did think it was an awesome and well done homage to the tv show. but the thing about making a sequel when the characters are older... the show has been on for nearly two decades and the characters never age (except in dream sequences and such) so i really don't think it would work for a whole movie.

Personally I didn't like the Simpsons' movie as much as I like the tv show of the Simpsons. I feel like the movie was rushed didn't give much story line it was harder to follow. Some parts were funny but overall I feel like they could have done way better.

I liked the Simpsons movie. I think they should someday continue with the simpsons, the next generation and show like you said when they are older and show them as parents and Marge and Homer as grandparents. That would still be great. It would kinda be like some families. Interesting to show how they raise their kids differently. I did like the movie as well, it was quite funny. I only wish it showed more of the characters other than just the simpsons. Because they are what makes it so great as well.

Good movie! I loved the part when Marge and the kids were coming back on the train and the government "found them". They accidentally said something when they should have been keeping a low profile. You see the room full of government agents (thousands of computers - wire tapping and email reading) and the guy jumps up and says "I found one!!"

I didnt really like the simpsons movie. Maybe its becasue i had really high expectation for it as if it were gonna be like a really long but good episode. While the movie wasnt bad i didnt like it either.

I liked it but the thing I didn't like was how he had to save his mariage as well as springfeild.
