Smoking or non smoking

I cannot stand the smell if I sit in the smoking area, so it is always the non-smoking area for me. If I was eating a meal with smokers, then we would all sit in the non smoking section, and they would take their cigs outside after the meal. I don't mind standing with them outside while they smoke, as long as I don't have to eat my food with cigs in the vicinity!

I will sit in the non smoking area. Because I and my husband also hates the people smoking around us when we eating, especially my husband. He will be come very angry and score the people who was smoking. If the people smoke in non smoking area, he will never go to the restaurant again.

here in florida you can not smoke anywhere in a restruant. i've been a smoker 45 years and it bothered me at first but i understand where their comming from and don't let it bother me.i also can go without smoking during the lenght of a meal,maybe not while sitting at a bar drinking with friends,but it's the people outside comming in waving their hands acting like idiots because that bother me.hey,if i'm abiding by the rules and you don't like my smoke*****don't breathe

i choose the area of the non-smoking section because i dont smoke and i'm really irritated with the smoke..and specially when i bring my child, i would realy choose non-smoking area..but there are some stablishments dont have that kind of areas, some are only having a non-smoking area because it's close and airconditioned..

They've banned Smoking in all public enclosed places now too, I think soon most countries in the world will do the same thing. Luckily I've just given up smoking so it doesn't bother me anymore, but smokers have to go and stand outside to smoke everywhere now. When I did smoke I was even asked not to smoke in the que for the London Eye, which is not an enclosed space so it's getting harder and harder for people who do smoke. But it's so bad for your health and we all know it now so really there is no reason for anyone to smoke anymore. It's not considered "cool" anymore people are even very rude about it in public to complete strangers.
