bride's name changed at the wedding time,are u in favour of it

I have often thought how much easier it would be if when people got married a woman would hyphenate her name with the mans name and when they divorce the woman just drops the mans name, so instead of having miss or mrs the hyphenated name would say it all...and why should a woman have to give up her name anyway, :)

I love my name & have not chnaged it.Why to change name .It is your identity.
