Have you met many people from the internet?

In person, that is?
I have met quite a few people over the years....I am a member of many message boards and have gotten to know some friends very well.
In fact, my boyfriend and I met online almost 2 years ago. I moved to be with him, from PA to WI....We've lived together for almost 6 months and it was the best decision I have ever made.
What about you?

Ihave never met anyone in person that I have talked to on the internet.
I am going to a wedding in an area where one of my internet friends lives. If it weren't going to be such a busy weekend, I would ask her to meet for cocktails or something as we have become good friends.

It would be great if you could squeeze a half hour or so in.....it may be an opportunity you'll never get again.

One of the first things I was told when i got the internet was never to give my phone number, address out and never arrange to meet anyone well i have done all , i have a tribute webpage to someone in the entertainment industry and I have met many many people and every single one of them were lovely.

Yes, I agree.....there is cautious and then there is ridiculously cautious. You just need to use some common sense!

I've met tons of people over the internet. Including my best friend and my husband.
I think it's important to take the normal cautions that you always do when meeting people for the first time, but I've never had a bad experience.

I've met several people from the internet in real. I had known them well enough before I met them in person though, since I don't easily trust people online. I'm in love with someone from online too, but unfortunately we haven't had the chance to meet yet since we're half a world apart.
