My husband had bad credit when we got married his ex wife helped that one out so first I pulled his credit report and anything older than 7 years that is negative except bankrupcty's you can have taken off I did then I had him apply for a credit card that takes people with bad credit and always made the payments on time after he showed a payment history on that we got a vechicle loan and was never late on that. Just making payments on time will raise your credit score.

they way me and my husband are fixing his credit is by going to a furniture stor and getting in store credit that way and let them know if you have some bad things on your credit first and yes by this time last year by husband credit sucked and this year its getting better little by little but yes go to a furiture stor that does fincing of there own

That does sound like a great idea and i have done that before and it is on there as positive credit.
