Do you have confidence in "Trials by a Jury of your peers" in murder trials? If so, why? If not, why?

Heck no I don't believe in jury trials. I mean, come on. Would you really want your fate in the hands of 12 people who weren't even smart enough to get out of jury duty?

I don't like to have my fate in anyone's hands but my own. I don't like to put my fate in someone else's hand because they may wake up having a bad day and decide that hey lets punish this person for my mistakes people do it all the time. Have a nice one Cyn.

iv been through the criminal court system many times and the best is is the judge these days because there more understanding and you can talk to them theses days you cant have confidence in jury because of all the stuff they hear happening in news then they really hear about it in court they just think that person did it and wanna send him to jail that how it is in vancouver

If it's going to be for a high profile case over here in the states they try and keep the jurrors sequestered. so that they don't get influenced by the media and what they hear. I'm not familiar with canadian law or their judicial system. Thank you for your response I really appreciate it.
