I am wondering about home remedies for heartburn. The only one I know of is eating a slice of apple. My hubby has Heartburn and I was wondering what else to do if I don't have apples on hand.
Thanks

I think somewhere before I read that if you eat something spicy or something that you think might give you heartburn...if you drink a full glass of milk right behind it that will help coat his insides before the food reaches it...don't know if it will work or not but I have heard that and really if you think about it it sounds about right, because you know that it looks like what ever you drink would go down before things you eat because it is liquid and that looks like it would get down faster so try that it might just work!
