Being single is a good thing for some people cause some people are a lot happier when they are by themselves and it is just plain wrong to force someone to marry someone else if they don't want too. I think that the only time a person should get married should be for love of the other person and nothing less.

In my opinion, as long as you are happy with your life as a single like you mentioned, it is not a problem at all. There are so many people in the world that choose to be a single person and still happy as they can be, and there are so many people in the world with unhappy marriage. So... just take it easy. Parents always think like that .. try to make them understand that you are enjoying your single life at this time.

hello maasga25. like you, i am not interested in marriage too. good thing for me, my parents are not forcing me to marry. it is not that i am closing my door for marriage but as of now, i am enjoying my life being single. do what you think is good for you... my prayers for you :)

Dear massha u r rite on some matters like u can stay happy if u r single NO tensions NO worries rite but i think ther comes 1 part in life that u feel badly for a family so in my opinion till u dont want to get married its okay but when the times come when u wana get married then the dorrs will be closed as u r from india actually it happens in pakistan that its tradition that gal should be married till 26 but after that or till 30th they think that gal old that now no one can mary her so the BEST age for geetting mrried is 20 till 25 thts it :)

In the world we live today, seems that being single is for babies or sickies that you cannot trust. Everyone is being force to marry and sometimes for the wrong reasons, people told me it doesn't matter who you marry as long as you get married. I spent most of my childhood watching my parents fight every other day and it is not the least thing I want for anyone.

PLEASE maasha...., do not get married until you are ready and hopefully after you meet the right person. You will know when that happens. You getting married because your family wants you to, makes me think that all the problems you have in a marriage like that would be their FAULT !! Stay single, enjoy life be happy....you will stay younger, longer and less stressed. Good luck.
