mines Magic Hawk Alexander but we call him just magic cuz we swear he's like Houdini cuz no matter what kinda lease or collar u put him in or fence if he wants out he can get out of anything...lol. he is a black lab/chow mix even though he has more naturement of a lab and looks too. he's just a big baby he thinks he's a small dog...lol.

Wow what a name! I have never heard a dog being given a name that long! How did you come up with that one. I have only ever owned one dog of my own and she was called sasha, she was a mixed breed, the vet said either rottweiler/labrador or rottweiler/alsation, the only reason I had her was because she was roaming the streets and being treated very badly so I rescued her and took her home, she was then 4 months old. So the name wasnt creative but the dog certainly was, so I guess she made up for her poor name in her personality!!

It seems that you are quite warm-hearted and love pets really.I've read another discussion you started,in which you mentioned that you have five cats, right? But I'm curious about which pet is your favorite. The cats or the dogs? And your house must be lively and exciting, hehe.
God bless you.

I have 2 dogs of my own, but there are 3 in the house.
I have a lab, who's name is B'Elana (bay-lana) but is called Ana (au-na). I also have a younger lab mix who's part lab and part shar-pei. Her name is Mia. She's just a little over a year old where as Ana is 6. They are BOTH very loved and Mia is the most jealous thing I've ever seen. I can'tpay attention to any of the other dogs without her being right there insisting on getting MORE than her fair share.
The other dog we have is Chance and he's an 8 month old boxer puppy. He's already bigger than the girls.

I have two male dogs. One is a yellow lab puppy. We have not figured out his full name yet because we just got him but we call him Digby. The one is a chocolate lab. His full name is Penobscot Bay Baracuda. We call him Coot. They are both so friendly and sweet! I love them both so much!

I have one dog his name is happy(we gave him that name because whenever he came here we were trying to think of a name to give him and we all noticed that he always seemed to be in a good mood and wagging his tail so he got the name happy)we aren't sure what exact type of dog he is we think that he is an eskimo spitz and pointer mix because of the coloring on him he is all white except for some brown spots on his nose(reason we think hes a pointer is that he always holds his front leg up)really the best dog that we have ever had!

We have three dogs. Esther is a chihuahua mix, Martha is a chow mix, and Twix is a sheltie/beagle. My husband named the first two. We adopted Twix from a friend; she had another dog named Snickers. My husband renamed her Mable, and she answers to either. Don't ask me why he picks little old lady names for our dogs, he just does!

My little guy is a pugapooh. He is part pug and part poodle. He is so cute with his pug face and poodle body including the curly short hairs. His name is pugsly but we usually just call him pugs. He is almost 11 years old now and it's starting to show. He had to have a tumor removed under his bottom teeht so they had to pull his teeth too, just the front ones. It wasn't cancer and we were pretty happy about that. It cost us $400 for his surgery. About 4 months later he grew a lump in his stomach and they removed that and said it wasn't cancer. That surgery cost us $800. Now he has another lump in his stomach and the vet wants another $800 to remove that one. We finially got smart and took him to another vet for a second opinion because this is happening too much. Well, the second vet has told us to not waste our money because out poor pugs has cancer and that the other vet knows this and just wants to earn more money off of us. The second vet says the first vet knew it was cancer from the first operation but lied to us. How does he know this, you may ask, because poor Pugs has the tumor back on his gums where the first operation was, and it's cancer. So the cancer didn't develope just like that, it was there before. So now we have to just make poor Pugs life as comfortable as we can till he is in toomuch pain, then we have to let him go to doggy heaven. It's going to be very hard to do.

I have 4 dogs. Sammy is a lab Golden Retreiver. He will be 3 in June.Hes a house dog and very very spoiled. We also have Willa who has lab in her but I'm not really sure what else we rescued her about 3 1/2 years ago she was 8 months then. She had 2 pups little after we rescude her. These we were able to find homes for. Then we wnet out and bought a large kennel for her so she could be outside and safe. While we ere on vacation and our neighbor was watching her.We came home and found the kennel door open.Turns out after watching her we foudn out she was opening the kennel door herself and letting the other neighbors dog in.She didn't go anywhere just let him in to vist.LOL Well I started chaining the door shut. But it was to late she had 9 puppies.I would have gotten her fixed but never thought about her opening the door herself.I found homes for all but 2 of them. I can't say I looked to hard for homes for them The kids wanted to keep them. So we also have Carter who is solid black with long hair and then Colt who is a whitesT beige shorter hair very pretty dog he has a white spot down his nose.My daughter named him colt because he looked like a baby colt when he was born.I have no idea what kind of dog the father is.But these dogs are hugh. So is the mother Willa. She could have german shepherd in her.

We've got a spoodle - cockerspaniel/poodle cross. Her name is Temima, which means pure, innocent, honest in hebrew (although she's exactly the opposite! lol) But we call her Timi for short. She's already 12 years old but still has a lot of playful energy most of the time. although her fave hobbies now are eating, and sleeping and eating.:) but she's adorable!

I have a 9 year old German Shepard/ Rottweiler cross named Chaz. I'm not exactly sure where hubby come up with the name but I had left for work and the dog was nameless, when I come home hubby informed me he wanted to name the dog Chaz. We soon have to put him down because he's getting old and cranky and I have a new baby due in just a few weeks and I dont need him hurting either of my kids. Its gonna be hard but I gotta do what I gotta do :)

My sister has a purebred boxer. She named her piper. Damn dog can be quite annoying at times, as she can't make up her mind.
I've had her come in and jump on my bed, only to run off when I go to fill a water bottle, and come back when I do.
She's also quite the trouble maker if she's allowed, tearing up garbage bags, and digging under the fence.

I have 2 dogs, one is a German Shepard and the other is a German Shepard mix, they are both very fun and active dogs.
I live in a very cold part of the world and they just love it up here and love to go outside and play ball. Also they are both white. I just adore dogs and cats pretty much all animals, there again, I live very far from most people and we have lots of wildlife and I do enjoy seeing all of them year around.

I've known a couple of lab/chow mixes...they're adorably hyper little things!
My dog was a black lab. We named him Ken because my father found him on a "Kenneth Road." His brothers and sisters had been drowned but we managed to rescue Ken. :)
