I grew up in a home on family property. However, someone in the family decided to take it all for his own family (by fraud), so that we were left without rights to my grandparents' property. I am trying to establish myself in the town where I have been based these past few years, but it seems impossible to save enought and to find an appropriate affordable property. This has been doubly difficult with a growing up kid. No, we never considered fighting for our rights. There's too much risk - we thought. We cannot afford to risk what little we have - and probably go into deeper debt - just to assert our rights, when the justice system is not so efficient after all. The rich can buy their way around, and that's common knowledge. Anyway, do you think we are just being lazy? We always justified our inaction that anyway, that property was never ours to begin with, but our grandparents' so we just let things be and work towards what we can call our own... ever ever we do get anywhere at the (negative) rate we are going at saving up!
