it is an amazing experience but if you are going to try and do it first of all tell youself where you want to go but it must be somewhere familiar a field-a friends house in the beginning just start with places you are ok with rather than going too far away so you know that you are going to return to your body its also safer when you start cos then you can learn to control the experience-littleowl

actually yes-if in your dream it was vivid and you felt as if you were really there then you were in spirit-your spirit is like a fine elastic band that when you have finished seeing what you have then it will return to your body-dont be alarmed i have seen things too that have actually happened and at the time tried to stop it from happening only to find the next day or soon after it actually has happened-what you have is the gift of premonition-littleowl

No I have not ever had an experience like this. But I definately do believe in it. That must have been a weird feeling, I think i would have been frightened if I ever had an outer body experience. I guess the white light must have made you feel safe and protected. I often wonder if alot of us have outer body experiences when we sleep and not even know it. Do you think that is possible? Do you think that is why we have da ja vu's as we have had these expereinces before?
Good discussion topic!!

hi kiran i expect a lot of people have or have had outer body experiences (obe's) and not realised what is happening-de ja vue however is totally different when you encounter that which many people do it is because at some point in your past life it is where you have been before so it seems familiar and some people including children can go to a place when they havent before yet 'know' when they get there how familiar it is to them-dont know if you beleive in past lives maybe thats another topic i should bring up-littleowl

Hi Jackashley,
There are a lot of people that have done that or actually gone doen a tunnel of white light and seen their loved ones whom have told them to return it isn't their time to go...it must be a very disturbing experience though especially whenyou saw everything that was happening to you...am glad you came through it all alright..LoLo

i have obe's almost all the time but mine are somewhat different. I see my self exactly how i was when i fell asleep. i always keep my door to my room shut so of course its the same way when i am dreaming and i leave my body. But everytime i try to leave my room i get a very bad feeling. i feel like there is an evil presence right outside my door. everytime i try to open my door something scares me.I then go back to my body and try to wake myself up until i finally get up..when i wake up everything is exactly how i saw it and my hearts beating fast and i sweat cause it feels so real?? should i keep trying to get out that door? or should i just stay in the room cause that is where i am safe?

Hi Faerie,
I agree with Melz, if ever you feel any negativity or evil in the house you need to ccleanse it..eg burn some frankincense incense that protects and helps get rid of the negative energy you can hold the stick and slowly walk around your bedroom demanding for all negative and evil spirits to go and leave your space and your house, when you have finished open the windows and then the front door still demanding for this negative energy to leave you only need them open for a few mins then close the windows and the door..your house and room should feel totally different and so should you...LoLo

hi,
i am a spiritual person. i have the same thing happen to me as well. you should do a spiritual cleansing in your room, and outside your room. while you are doing this, you have to claim your space and in the name of CHRIST you will command all negative, evil, and unwanted energies to leave. do not fear,if you have any fear,do not say it out loud, the negative energies feed off that. once you do this, whenever you have the experience happen to you again you will feel different, more secure, and relaxed.always make sure you never lose yourself, always try and stay focused,no matter where you are.be aware.hope this helps. take care

Everytime I have a dream that I am flying or falling off of something, I wake up floating, in my sleeping position, just above my bed. Then I fall onto my bed.

Hi Sherry
You are actually having out of boy experience's although you do not feel that you can control it you can with practice..eg think of a place you know a park a house then when you go to sleep think of that place when you dream nest then you should of been able to go there when out of your body..there is no need to feel scared about it as you will always come back..try this for a while it probably won't happen the first time but after a few times it should. If you also go to your nearest spiritualist church there will be someone there who will also help you to control where you go in your dreams. You definitley are a sensitive...LoLo
