Have You Tried To Do Something Nice For Someone's B'Day And It Went Wrong?

The other day my hubby and I sent flowers to be delivered to My Sister-In-Law through FTD......They were to be delivered on Saturday, Feb 2..before noon.. I didn't know that FTD was sending them from Florida to New Jersey...I thought they would wire a local florist and have them to deliver them....Then they went from there to Memphis, Tn. from there to Newark,NJ, from there to Moonache,NJ and from there FedEx took it to her house...... Needless to say the flowers were set in the cold on her front porch....When I checked FTD and found out the route I was upset.....Needless to say the tuplips were dropping and the leaves on the roses were dead and forget the greenery in the arrangement... I couldn't understand why the would use FedEx to deliver the flowers when there are Florist in her town that deliver them and they would have been fresh.. Then I learned that 1-800-Flowers...would have used a local florist and they wouldn't have been left in the cold weather to wilt..... Has anyone else had this problem????????
