life or art

I am twenty years old, and when i think about it most of my childhood was spent comparing my life to heros or villains of movies. When i was barely old enough to remember anything, i remember watching robocop, and the terminator. As i grew older my tastes grew towards more artistic or "more important" movies. even today i contemplate what my life would be like if i were a character in some action, or drama movie. am i the only one who makes these comparisons?
