What was your first job

and how old were you when you started working?? I started with I was 16 working for my dad and studying at the same time. It taught me a very important lesson. I could not work with my father. But i stuck it out till i completed my graduation and moved on to better things. what about you??

I started work a little after I turned 16 and it was at a place called Del Taco.

My first job was at a sewing factory were my aunt and mom worked I was 17 then. The company made soccer and garment bags. I didn't do much just cut old bags and put ropes in the soccer bags since I wasn't old enough to use the machines but I couldn't and still can't sew anyway so it wasn't a big deal. It was ok the place was hot and some days I had to stand all day but when I cut the old bags I got to work in the back by myself and listen to my radio, it made the time go faster.

Thanks for the reply. I've realised the experience that you get working no matter how young you are is a good lesson that we learn early Of course earning your own money also tends to give you a fantatic feeling as you know u made that money on your own.

I was 22 when I started my first job as a business analyst. I was working with the company for about 2 and a half years when I decided that it was time to move on to a new place which is able to provide me with better opportunities and job prospects. I did love my first job though, i made lots of friends and managed to learn a lot of things which has brought me to where i am right now.

I was about 22 years old when I have statred my first job, after doing Graduation.The was of QC Inspector in the plastic division of a company who manufactured baby products like Soother, Feeder, Nipple etc.

When I was fourteen I worked with my mom in a clothing factory. I guess this way she could keep an eye on me. I was the one who cut off all the cotton pieces that the seamstress left on the pant legs. FUN! It was only for a summer and I remember a great sandwich shop around the corner where we had lunch together. I learned that mom was a hard worker and I would never ask for anything again. Oh, and I loved the bus ride home with her. We had some great conversations.

my first job was at my uncles office (he was a businessman) and the only thing i do is to fix all the receipt they are getting. i think they need it for paying taxes. i was 16 then.
then the next job i had was a coordinator in a supermarket, i hold 5 different supermarket and i go to one supermarket to another everyday. it was tiring but i was happy with that.
then i work in a corporation who handles promo girls to be send on malls and supermarket if there is any product promotions or free tastes.
now i am a stay home mom.
