I do!! I do!! But only at resturants (AND without the chunks). Strange I know but it's the only place that I can find it that tastes good. I've tried wish bone, kraft and a few others but had to give up because none have the resturant taste. Plus, this is going to sound strange but if you like bleu cheese salad dressing, try it with pineapple or peaches or both. I'm so serious!! It tastes awesome!! I found that out by mistake when the dressing ran into some of my pineapple and I just took a chance and tasted it and I'm SOOOO glad I did!! It's very very good! I've had a few friends try it reluctantly but once they did, they all loved it!!So, do you like bleu cheese salad dressing? Do you buy yours at the store? If so, what brand do you buy and why? Is it chunky or not? Because I don't like the chunks....

I love it! There was only one place I could buy it and the brand was a lady's name. I can imagine how lovely it was on the pineapple. We loved it on our regular salad...especially if we were having a steak bbq-ed for dinner. It wasn't chunky...it was lovely and creamy

Hello lovely lady. I honestly cannot remember the name although that could be the one. It's not available in the section where all the other salad dressings are...it's kept in the refrigerated section.
It's not really aged cheese, it's a special culture they put into it, similar to what they put into yogurt. Besides, cheese that is aged is done under controlled conditions. :)

I agree for it has to be safe or they couldn't sell it, right? I get comments of "eeewwww, aged old cheese, how can you eat that?" lol I'm like, mind your own plate and I'll mind mine. lol I'm going to try that one brand for it is in the frigerated section so maybe it is the one? We'll soon find out!

Hi MsTickle... is it Marie Callenders the ladys name you're seeking? I'm going to have to try it for it's been mentioned a few times on here. I'm really surprised at how many responded to this discussion saying they like it because most people don't and think it's gross because of the aged cheese. I think it's very tasty if it's the right brand so I'm going to try Marie Callenders for sure!

I too also like it with out the chunks. I buy mine at the store. I get hidden vally brand normally. I first had it at a camp I went to and I didn't even relize it at first, I thought it was ranch but I tried it and liked it alot.

Try it with pineapple or peaches next time. It is awesome tasting that I'm sure you'll love it. If you don't then you can easily throw it out. The few people that I've told this to look at me like I've gone batty but then they eventually they do try it and found they like it as much as I do.

Huh, well thats different. never heard of anyone doing that, but it very well could be good. I like pear half's with a bit of mayo in the middle and grated cheese on top. That sounds weird too but it is good.

It might taste better at a resturant do to the freshness. I use to eat nothing but bleu cheese on my salads at resturants. I have not had bleu cheese in a long time. Lately, I have been having only ranch. If I do not have any dressing at home, I just make the Thousand Island, with the Ketchup, Mayo, and Rellish.
Although, I eat salads at home all the time, it has been a long time since I have bought a really good salad. I was just saying at lunch time how I could go for a really good salad. I may just go out and get some extra ingredients and make a special salad for myself or go next door and have one of Burger King's salads. I hear that they are really good.

I don't think it's the freshness but due to the ingredients that is used. A few on here have suggested Marie Callendars brand which I'm going to try along with the commerial brand at Sam's. Hopefully I'll find one that I like.

I Have actually tried blue cheese before and some people try it on salads but I would much rather try it with chicken wings because that is so good...I have really never tasted anything like that before...I use to put honey mustard sauce on my chicken but I don't even do that anymore because now I only put blue cheese salad dressing on mine....

Bleu cheese is wonderful with fruit. I like the cheese itself, so I like the chunks in my dressing. Make homemade with one part buttermilk, one part mayo or miracle whip, cheese to taste. You are making me hungry. I really like the dressing at Pizza Hut. You could go to Sam's Club and buy the gallon of commercial style dressing and that would probably be just what you are looking for. And there would be a WHOLE lot of it.

i love bleu cheese dressing! and your right, the dressing in restaurants tastes so much better than the stuff at the store.
personally i love the chunks.
there is one brand of bleu cheese that tastes almost like the restaurant to me. that Marie Callenders brand..usually found in the produce section near the different types of lettuce.
im pretty sure it comes in a Creamy Bleu Cheese variety too. its a bit more expensive than the regular dressings, like Hidden Valley and Wishbone of course, but it does taste more like the restaurant!

Hey, if it tastes near like the resturants then it's worth the price we pay, right? I mean, why get the stuff that doesn't have a good taste and not enjoy it? That seems a bit out, I think. Thanks for letting me know!! I'll be sure to get some next time I go to the store!

I buy it, but I have to make sure the brand is safe for me. Some have corn starch, one just makes me sick - & I don't know why.
I love bleu cheese, that's what we always got when we ate out as a child.
You know what I like it on? Pasta! I pore it over the cold noodles, heat it up & YUM!!!
I'm afraid I won't be eating it on peachs or pineapple... I have never liked pineapples (except in upside down cake & barely then) and I've been off peachs since I had a bad allergic reaction to them over 20 yrs ago.

Oh no, Don't do that hon. I wouldn't want to see you get sick over any reason. I'm sorry your body reacts that way which I'm sure is hard on you trying to find something safe to eat. Bless your heart!

I can't say that I do but my wife loves it. I like french or ranch only even with chicken.
