night sky

there have been 2 bright stars to the left of the moon reciently in the night sky can anyone etell me what they are or is it a star and a planet?????

I believe they are Venus and Jupiter. Not sure. Aine

It would be difficult to explain what they are unless you can supply your location on the world when you noticed it. Depending on where on the world you're looking from, the sky will look vastly different.

wouldn't they still be the same but just at different times,your i think 14 hours ahead of me i'm in florida u.s.a. east coast and saw them comming over the horizon before sunup at 5am and climbing until it started getting light.i speak to friends in your wonderful country on a daily basis but their more or less nomads in their late 50's and winnabago around the country
