Does Anyone Have Carpal Tunnel? In your Hands?

I am not sure if I have this, but every night my hand falls asleep. It is sometimes so bad that I cannot sleep. Does anyone have this and if so, what have you done? Surgery? Please give me some advice. Thanks.
