Movie Release On Tuesday!

The movie existed because of the songs...and the songs wouldn't have existed if not for The Beatles. I loved the movie and I loved the way the songs were covered. Jim Sturgess and the rest of the actors did well in portraying their aptly-named characters and all of them can really sing! Jim somehow looked like a younger Paul McCartney eh? Bono looked different as Dr. Robert! TV Carpio has a beautiful voice and so does Dana Fuchs! Powerful voices! Evan's voice is good too but it didn't impress me much. Anyway, the movie has sparked a new interest for the younger generation who had no clue about the music of The Beatles. I wish the younger generation will discover the original Beatles versions of the songs in the movie and have an out-of-this world experience! Yey! I am the Walrus!!! Goo goo goo jub!!!

I know that this is a movie that non-Beatles fans can enjoy because I didn't know much about the Beatles before I saw it. I bought it over the weekend and I love it. I love the covers, some of them I like even more than I liked the Beatles version. I loved how the story was laid out and I loved the visuals on all of it.

I am so excited for the dvd. I saw the movie 3 times. I thought it was beautifully done... both the story and the way it was shot. I was also pretty impressed with the covers. Most of them were great. (Can't beat the Beatles, of course, but they still did a good job) I don't know if non-Beatles fans can enjoy it or not. I had a friend who only sort of liked them and she loved the movie... so maybe.
