why is it more ok for females to be gay then guys

This is because of men. The majority of men I know have fantasies about women being together. They wouldn't even consider it cheating if their partner was with a woman as long as they got to watch or join. I can't name a single woman I know that has a fantasy about 2 guys being together. Men are typically all macho and manly and severely homophobic. They would die if their friends thought they were gay too because they had a gay friend. Women can be friends with lesbians and not worry that their straight friends are going to think they are gay because of it. I had one person explain it to me this way...women as a species are just beautiful. Men not so much. When you see two women together you are seeing beauty. Two men together are just comical. LoL

Its because males have penetrations which can cause AIDS.I might be wrong though.

Hello Easymoney, I think that alot of people will tell you that this is because most guys like watching two girls going at it but the truth of the matter is that women are generaly more affectionate toward each other then guys are. I'm sure we've all seen this growing up where all the ladies are hugging each other while the guys might be shaking each others hands. This has been the social norm and when they are holding hands its really not that much different. I've seen straight women dancing with each other on dance floors, I'll bet you will never see two straight guys doing that. Just my two cents anyway. Take care, Terry

Well I don't know about the prejudices or the unfairness of it but here is my theory as to why: Women are naturally meant to be beautiful. Therefore, it is easy to be physically attracted to a woman, regardless of whether you are man or woman. So it is quite understandable if two women are attracted to each other. I know several straight women who would say "Wow, that girl is beautiful". Men, on the other hand, are naturally meant to be strong, not beautiful. So it is more difficult to understand why two men would be attracted to each other. You would never hear a straight guy say "Wow, Brad Pitt is handsome".

it is because men has to protect their macho image.and since most gays are a bit feminine in everything they hated them...i dont think the majority will accept the gays for what they are...but there is a handful who supports them and fight for them but i personally think that we should not tolerate to have gays in our communities because it is not a good example for our kids to see them since there should only be man and woman and not gays.

I don't entirely agree with you on this issue, because in my personal experience, I have found that gay gays are quicker accepted. That might just be because I know more/there seem to be more openly gay men in my area than women. I do see what you mean though with regards to women being seen as the touch-feely ones and men being more standoffish. After all, nobody really bats an eyelid if they see two girls holding hands or hugging each other, but if two guys did that people would almost certainly look twice.

Women as a whole are more affectionate, I think because we're the ones that bear the children. I know alot of this is stereotypical, but it is much more sensual to see two females together than two men. I have family, both genders that are gay, and honestly, we have no problems with my cousin's partner (a man) or my aunt's partner (a woman); it's just my uncle's partner just tends to overdo things with us (it's tough, since my uncle is the youngest in the family).

I don't know exactly why people are like that I just accept people for who they are because no one is better than anyone else in my opinion and everyone should be treated fairly...I think that everyone is equal and has equal rights! I think the reason that everyone does that(and this is just my opinion I dont really know what everyone else feels like)but alot of the guy friends I have had always talked about how that was their "fantasy" of two women...I don't know if other guys feel that way or what but thats just what I think!
