everyone has a little saying that they like and kind of live by. what is yours and why?
mine is live and let live. we are all different and that is what makes the world go around and makes it fun. be proud of who you are and be you. i try to teach my kids all the time dont worry about what others say be you. think for yourself. dont do what everyone else does just to fit in with out having to explain yourself. be you and let them except you if they dont its there loss not yours. people tend to want what others have so they can say i have that too. or they tend to go along with things that they dont like just so that they can say i did this with this person etc. or they will agree with what someone says just so they dont get those looks and have to explain them selves. personally i say what i feel, do what i feel is right and just be me. if you dont like me it is your loss not mine. i am not prefect but i am a good person and i am honest.
what is your moto and why?

I have a couple that I actually live by one being live like today was your last day to live....because you don't want to look back in fifty years and say wow why didn't I do something differently or man I wish that I would have done this or that! And another is the same one that you live by live and let live because I mean everyone has their own opinions and their own rights just like you do so you should treat everyone equal and let them live their lives like they want to live them because thats what you want them to do to you!

I do have a motto!! Its like
Don't Expect Good Things to Happen With You so that Bad Things Won't Hurt You Much .
And i do follow it. I don't rely on anything ir anyone. I solely depend on myself. And i don't expect the outcome to be good. Whatever that comes to me is only because of my deeds.. I cannot blame anyone.
And you don't get a positive outcome everytime so expecting it to be good everytime is something like cheating yourself. similary, I don't expect anyone to do me good everytime. i don't expect anything from them. So whatever comes from their side will be like a reward for me..
Rest i do have goals, which are more like golas, because, i don't ever find myself reaching them. But whats the harm in setting them..

My motto is to do unto others as I would have done unto me, but it does not always work like that. I have done good by others only to be treated like crap in return LOL..
I feel the same way you do though. Take me for who I am or leave me be.
Don't judge me until you have walked in my shoes.

Be strong, you can only rely on yourself. That is my motto. You are the only one that decide with your life, what do you want and what do you want to become. Being strong is a big bullet for your life, if you are strong you know what you want and what you want to achieve. That is what I am always saying when facing the new day everyday.

The golden rule of course,
Do not unto others as you would not have done to yourself, or more aptly stated, treat others as you would like to be treated.

I agree with you. My saying is Smile and the World smiles with you. You would be surprised how many times I have walked down the street or in a store or restaurant and there will be a person passing me that has a frown on their face. I smile and say hi and most of the time I get a smile back. When I pass a person on a continual basis and they always have a stern expression or a frown on their face I make it a special point of saying hi to them every time I pass them. It is surprising that after a small period of time when they see me coming they will smile and say hi. I love to see this happen. I do this all the time. I am a happy person and like to make people happy. Even if it is only smiling at another person and telling them hi.

My motto is........"All the women I want, I can't have, and all the women I can have I don't want."
This is so true of me, because I am 50 and I have never been married, or for that matter, I have never been engaged. So that's my motto, and it fits me to a T

My motto is "do it, do it right, do it right now!" This is my motto because I was a teacher before I became disabled and I have 5 kids between my own and my husband's. I am a formidable woman and people actally do follow my motto when I use it. They don't want to know what I might do "or else". LOL

Just do it!
I'm a college student, and I find it's hard to sometimes get out of those doldrums that so many of us suffer from. We're at such a crucial moment in our lives and a lot of us throw it away. Also as an artist I feel the seductive lull of doing absolutely nothing and being depressed, so just telling myself to get pumped and do it pushes me through.
