Are you an outdoor or indoor person?

Roofer working on a cold day. - It was about 25 degrees out and the wind was blowing about 15-20 miles an hour. While photographing some beautiful houses, I noticed some roofers at work. I couldn't believe they were out there in such cold, windy conditions. I felt very sorry for them

I enjoy getting outdoors in just about any kind of weather. I have always had an indoor job, however, usually working at a desk. Most of my hobbies can be done indoors or outdoors. I find I spend most of my time indoors. I like to take pictures of people who work out of doors. Sometimes I feel sorry for them, especially when the weather is bad. I recently took a picture of a roofer who was working on a freezing day. I was glad I never had his kind of job! So what do you like best--indoors or outdoors?

I am definitely an indoor person. I love staying at home because it is comfortable and I can do whatever I want there...i mean it is my territory and I am the leader there. But of course I also enjoy going out especially with my loved ones. I love seeing new things and learning about different envionment. I love both indoor and outdoor activities but if I have to choose between the two, I will choose to be indoor.

Indoors can certainly be more comfortable and safe feeling, I think. Thanks for the reply.

I am a indoor person. I don't like to do exercise outdoor, except to go swimming in summer.I am a student and I always spent times indoors,to read my books ,to paint,to make clothes or playing computer. If no one call me to go out, I would not think of go outside and do things under the sun.

I love the outdoors, and if I weren't so ill, I'd spend a lot more time in it. On days when I can walk my dog over a mile, I just breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the sunlight on my face. The only time I am patently an INdoor person, is in the summer when the temperature goes over 95 degrees. In Oklahoma, as you know, the temp can go past 100 degrees, and with the humidity, it's almost unbearable.

i'm actually both. both in an extreme sense. when i'm indoors -- i seldom move around the house. i just stay in the room most of the time and relax. i also know have to enjoy outdoor activities. there are just times when i would prefer to be confined in the room than to go out. but i do love the sun, the people and the rain. i love playing in the rain. usually when it rains here -- i go take a run with my dogs and play with them. is there a term to call ourselves who can do with both?

I am more of an indoor person. I do however when the weather is nice usually during the summer am defintly an out door person. From spring to early fall im more of an outdoor person. However most of the time i am an indoor person as that is my leaning overall.

Hi Susie Darlin, Spring,Fall I love being outside..Winter..yuck hate the cold,snow,etc...Summer like being inside when it's very hot but do love to be out when the weather isn't extreme...If I had to be outside I might not mind as much but since I don't I take the easy way out and stay home where it's toasty..sure is cold here! xoxoxoxoxo

I'm like you..I don't mind being outdoors in any kind of weather. This winter has been weird here in NY...we're having rather balmy weather, and by mid-next week they are predicting near sixty degree weather and we haven't had any snow at all. With me I just have to get out for awhile as taking a short walk and maybe doing some errands makes me feel better than being stuck indoors all day. Though I did stay home all day today to give my ankles and feet a rest as they are still bothering me..sure hope this pain goes away soon as it's driving me daft...I want to take my long walks again.. :(

It depends on weather. I don't like rain and snow. If its too cold for me I don't go outside. I need the sun and some warm temperature.

I think I'm a mix. I hate sports, and winter weather, but I love going to the beach and water activities, like kyaking and swimming. I also enjoy going for walks/hikes, and indoor stuff like drawing, painting, sculpting and playing video games. :]

During the winter time, I am definitely an indoor person, for I am allergic to the cold.. Summer, Spring and Fall, I prefer being outdoors.

I am way more of an outdoors person because when it is really sunny and warm outside I usually have alot of energy and just can't wait to get outside and do things....and when you are inside you really cannot do everything you want to...you are very limited indoors and I don't like being limited on anything...thats one big reason why i am more of an outdoors person...and really who doesnt like being out in the sun and being warm and just being able to go and do whatever you want whenever you want and enjoy it!

I do get what I call "cabin fever" if I don't get outside every so often. Indoors can be very restrictive. Thanks for the reply.

I have always been more of an indoor person than an outdoors person, purely because I've never been a big fan of the cold, and a warm place is surely better than one where it might be raining!! However, there are often times when I look out of the window and think that I really should go out and do some exercise e.g. going for a walk or a run. I really enjoy myself once I'm outside!! It's the kind of feeling where, once you're as wet and cold from the weather as you can possibly be, then it makes no difference how longer you stay out for. It's that kind of liberating feeling which makes me enjoy being outside so much more. I just need to motivate myself to get into the outdoors in the first place, and then I can have a good time!
