Teaching is a noble profession according to many. Noble in the sense that we are not only dealing with the papers/testpapers but people as well. It is not only enough for the teachers to be intelligent but be patient and have that good character are more important. Being a teacher should be a complete package. You should not only go to the classroom neat and prepared with lessons but eqipped yourself with sense of humanity, dignity and commitment. I always say I love the students but how many times do I feel that teachers are always abuse....abuse by people in position who don't mind how hard it is for a teacher to be in that post. Lucky are the teachers who found a great and undestanding supervisors or schoold aministrators. But poor are those who have cruel leaders. Most of the times, teachers are overworked and yet underpaid. THere are those countries who have great pay for teachers however are not protected against undisciplined students who grown by their parents to be like little demons. How I wish there will be equal treatment for teachers across the nation. Teachers should be given due respect and reasonable compensation and benefits. But inspite all of these, I know teachers will still remain to be the shapers of the tomorrow's leaders. There are still joys in teaching...I know.
