Can you delete friends from your list?

Has anyone done that? There are people on my friends list who haven't been on the site for many months, even a year. Would it be helpful or harmful to delete them from my list if I could? And how would I do that?

i think myLot should have categorization function for the FRIENDS section. This is so that we could really categorize them by any how that we want. Having said that, then you wouldn't need to delete those inactive members off. I really see no benefit of deleting them. Maybe when they are logged into myLot after some time, they will still be able to see your posts and messages.

I wouldn't delete them just because of inactivity. They may be back and will be able to find you and your discussions. Those spammers I would delete right away. How rude to post referral links on someone else's page. Like someone said above, I do wish there was a way to organize things a little better on the friends list. ....whit

I think that can be done. I am also planning to deletesopme who are neither active or do not response to any of my discussions. I am not getting time to do so. If you go to the friends link, there is delete option for every friend I guess.

Hello youdontsay, Sometimes I feel guilty whenever I make a decision to delete my inactive friends. In fact, until now I haven't delete anyone on my list *smiles* But since you asked the question,I tried to delete one of my friends whom I knew had been banned from My Lot quite some times ago. I am not sure whether it is good or bad decision but at least I don't feel that guilty as I know that he is no longer being allowed to be here. You just need to press the 'delete' button and confirm (yes/no) whether you really want to delete that friend.

I have not done that, but why do you want to delete them? Sorry to say that. For me I won't want to, becasue they may come back. Maybe I'm a 'soft' person. I had friends not being active recently ( for months) I started to miss them and hoping they will come back one day.

go to the page that says "my friends" and there's the word "delete." Easy to delete, I deleted some a few months back that hadn't been on in months & numbers haven't changed. I'm considering a few more.

I think there is actually a way to delete some of the friends that you have...but I dont know that it is such a good idea because whenever you have alot of friends they could go and answer your questions and that makes you a little money I think when you get alot of responses from your questions...and another plus to having alot of friends is that you can answer their questions and make a little money that way too...and another reason is that your friends could rate you if they answer your questions and if they rate you that helps you in some way too!
