tired of having nightmares

lately, I have been having the strangest dreams. for three straight days now, I am always dreaming of myself running from someone that is chasing me. The dream settings and the chaser varies but the concept is always the same: I have to escape or else the chaser will catch me and something bad will happen to me. Can anybody explain to me these dreams? I am actually getting tired of waking up weak and shaking after every dream.

Well according to DreamMoods.com...you have too much stress in your waking life or "real life", that you are actually avoiding these stresses, and are projecting it through dream chases in your sleep.Soooo, I guess if you want this dream to end, then you have to face and eliminate your stresses or anxieties in real life. I log my dreams, and have them interpreted through this web site, I am not sure how true it is, but it gives me peace of mind.Hope I helped :)

that's what I heard also... try meditating before sleeping... simply put, rest for a while and try pushin away any thoughts that enter your mind.

that actually works. I have been having some disturbing dreams lately too, I take a long hot bath and meditate a little why listening to soothing music, it has been helping.

This is quite a common one it usually means that there is something in your real life that you can't deal with so you dream of running away. If you can work out what it is and it can be quite a few things, then the dream should stop.
