I feel very behind and like I'm not at where I'm suppose to be. I feel there is a lot more that I should know for my age(24) and a lot more that I should be doing right now.
Do any of you ever feel this way, or have any of you ever felt this way? How do you overcome this feeling?

I know how you feel! I just turned 25 last month. A lot of things in my life had to be put on hold due to financial difficulties and circumstance. I generally feel as if I got a late start. I look back on the past ten years and I am really disappointed in myself. I feel like a bum compared to some of the people I went to high school with ten years ago. I should have accomplished a lot more. They've gone on to accomplish things, do what they love and get some enjoyment out of life. Everything seems like a struggle to me at the moment. I made a promise to myself that this year is all about getting sh*t done. Instead of having a general New Year's resolution, I set up monthly resolutions. At the beginning of each month, I look over what needs to be done in order to better my situation and my life. I start my second job this month so I am focusing on lowering my credit card balances and debt. I'm only allowing myself to spend money on food and transportation. Once my finances are on track I can move on to other things. I need to get my driver's license. I need to focus on my music and writing. I want to get back ino art and photography. I should have had my own book by now. I want to do so much. I'm going to take it one month at a time to get things rolling and evaluate all my progress next year.

The monthly resolutions sounds like a plan. I think it's also the comparisons that gets me down as well.
The only good thing that I can see about getting a late start is that life will possibly be more enjoyable to us as time goes on. Everyone is moving so fast and doing so much so early. They can possibly be burned out on everything a little later in life.

I'm going to be 40 soon and I still feel that way. You just have to keep on keeping on. Try to make educated decisions, and do what you think is right. Will you ever find contentment? Who knows... but what's the alternative??? Giving up??

Contentment may never happen, and it's not always a good thing to achieve. It's the process of achieving - this is where you find the pleasure. Not so much in the end result but in the journey to it.
If you have drive and enthusiasm then experience everything you can. Do the best you can, have no expectations other than to be the best you can be and you will have no cause to complain about your lack of achievement.
