So many people in life stuck with addictions..
But don't realize that have the power to make decisions..
Which logic steps to take to have a better living..
They are not locked or bound, but have chance of giving..
You can drop the bottle, you can put down the smoke..
We're not stuck in thorns and we don't always choke..
You can even drop the habit for what you used to toke..
All you have to do is hear the simple word and say no..
You got the power to let go, don't say it isn't so..
Don't let your mind tease you, deceive you..
Don't make it think like it can read you, or weaken you..
Don't look down like you about to fall, raise your head up and stand tall.. A power to be victorious after your brawls.. We come to realize that we all have flaws..
But that's not all, two make better than one.. You collapse, one picks you up to continue to run..
Why look back you only make things worse..
Maintain your emotions, keep a method to rehearse..
Positive outcomes, sound mind.. Don't walk crippled, paralyzed or blind.. Don't make your life like it's a thin line.. Think of it as if you just turned water into wine..
Every person has it in them, and since the beginning..
Don't hide your chances like books in a shelf..
Get that book, dust if off, scream out or yell..
"I have the power to make a change" and everything goes well

This was actually a poem? But yes very interesting and very true. This is a great topic because there are people in this world that have habits that think they can't change it. I will actually use this as a bulletin at my office. This is really inspiring. Keep it up darkangel you're doing a great job.

I do believe in the power of change. I mean for the times in college of understanding Pyschology I know that the mind has the power to do whatever it pleases and where you want it to go. And it's just a simple thing I had to learn for myself I mean I didn't need other things to break habits, but just to simply say, "I've had enough! This thing is not getting me no where!" Or "I'm just going to say no to it!" And it isn't just the words, but actually acting on it without turning or looking back. Thanks for the comment

this is true because i know at times i have a bad habit of drinking because of my friends that offer it to me. i think i better start realizing that there are other things better in life to do. i know i am aging day by day and hope i can make the right decisions in my life. it's words like this i can look at when i need to decide to change what is making me worse so that i can make it better. thank you

I know what you mean I mean I can relate also about those habits when I was young. But then I just said to myself it already got old and boring. I mean we are not getting any younger nowadays. Sooner or later we will face new challenges in life and need to be ready for them. Not just to sit in life and add on more problems. But I know you can do it
