For years now I have been dreaming of someone constantly bugging me.
It felt so real that I don't know if it was really a dream.
The dream was that something kept pulling my feet and hitting it against the bed.
Other times it seems to be choking me and I wake up gasping for air.
Sometimes, I even wake up in the dream and "it" still keeps on pulling my feet and then it'll stop. I'll be really tired when I wake up.
The first time it happened was the worst because it was really frightening and I didn't know what to do.

hey don't worry...just be sure those are all dreams and remember to relax youself..maybe you're suffering from the strain of modern life, i suppose. i also had bad dreams when i was just 7 years old--those days i usually dreamed of big stones falling down on my body and i always felt gasping when i woke up ,too. i even went to hospital but the doctors didn't dnow what was wrong with me and they just persuaded me to relax, relax and relax...LOL...ok right, maybe you're nervous these days. take your time and go out to enjoy the fresh air, do some things you like, such as talking with friends, listening to light music and so on...all in best...all is well that ends well.

i've been dreaming of this for years now, back when i had my own condo.. i dreamt of it when i went back home. and now, i've been dreaming of it in our company's sleeping lounge.. worst part is, i heard some of my officemates have been dreaming of the same thing in our dark room also. but i havent told them that i've dreamt of it before.. do you think it's psychological? or paranormal?

Hello Posham, it does sound scary to me. Though I'm a Catholic but I do believe in the existence of ghost or spirit. I cannot help you much however let me share with you my daughter's experience.
Ever since we moved to our new house my daughter who was 9 at that time used to dream about ghost and as if the ghost was really exist in her bedroom. We were laughing over the matter. Then my son slept in the room and he also experienced the same thing, dreaming about the ghost and according to him the ghost tried to pull his leg. A few weeks later I dreamt about a lady ghost roaming in our house and disturbing me. She even tried to choked me. In the morning when I described the features of the lady ghost that appeared in my dream, my children agreed that we all dreamt of the same ghost.
Ever since we prayed before going to bed, putting up crosses in the house and sprayed the holy water, thanks godness we don't dream about the ghost anymore. I can't tell wheather by coincidence or because of the prayer that the ghost never appear in our dream anymore.

yeah, i know.. first time it happened, i just panicked and when nothing seems to make sense, i just prayed with all the might i can muster.. i'm not all religious but that seemed to work everytime.. someone told me it might be stress.. it's just that it felt so real.. last night, i slept again in the sleeping area in our company that i was telling you about and nothing happened, thank god.. (although i slept in a different room there this time, just to be sure... lol..)..

My gawd... that is eerie.
I'm a psy major, and as such, my first impulse would probably be to tell you to look into Freuds book of dreams. But I have no idea about the Freudian interpretation of dreams, primarily because I don't really believe in such interpretations. Yet.
But I was a member of the Paranormal Society in our university, and I've attended a seminar on theodicy, and the discussions there touched on this one -- recurring dreams. Come to think of it, just days before that, I read somewhere about how to deal with recurring dreams that you don't like:
First, you write the original dream/s. And then you REWRITE IT into something that you'd want to have instead. (sorry I don't have more details about that).
Tell us how it goes. And oh, I'll go look for that Discovery Channel program. Just tell me some details of it (title, guest/s, host, schedule...) that I can search for. I'm interested in that too anyway. We'll get that ;') (if you haven't yet).
Best wishes, posh.
