Maybe you have known that a US spy satellite could hit the earth in late Feb or early Mar.It is said that the satellite has lost power and out of orbit. For it is out of control, the US can't make sure where the satellite would crash.
The satellite is 9072 kg,size as a small bus, belonging to big satellite. It contains tons of hazardous materials called "hydrazine",which is kinda rocket fuel. This non-colored oil liquid is harmful to human beings who are close to it.
The US said the satellite would be shot down by a new lazer weapon for missiles.I hope it would be effective.Amen.
What do you think of this event?

I heard something about this on the news as well. It is very scary. I hope they can do something soon with it. I would hate for it to hit the earth and hurt any of us. I think the U.S. should get rid of it now and they should have done something with it a long time ago. There are alot of scary things going on in the world any more.

Sounds like shooting it down isn't a good idea if what it's what it's what it's full off is harmful to humans, but presumably it will explode when it's hit by the missile and the fuel will burn up then. Thins like this must happen quite a lot and we just don't hear about it, there must be thousands of satellites orbiting the earth with all the cell phone networks and TV channels and military organisations etc that rely on them. It's a disturbing thought that it could go wrong, and that it must happen quite a lot too we just don't hear about it.

Yeap, there are thousands of thousands satellites in the outer air, which are responsible for networks, weathers,TV,military and other things.Maybe it's common that some of them get out of control.
Anyway, hope it won't be a big disaster for us human beings.

OMG it is so scary what they are doing, with all the stuff they are putting up there it is only a matter of time before something comes flying back at us, you would think they would have learnt a lesson with how we have junked up this earth and they are doing it again in outer space, we humans have so much to answer for....

I think the US government has a solution already. But we must learn a lesson from this event.

If they are able to know that the satellite has lost control, that means they have enough time to think of a solution to prevent any mishap. With all the modern technology, I believe that something will be done by the US. Of course, the other countries all over the world would also be concerned about this incident.

I think the crashing satellite won't be a big problem for our lives. But the US and other countries must learn something from this affair.

When I first heard the news,it reminded me immediately of a movie something like "the comet hits the earth".But it was the truth, not fantasy.
