Corner Gas

Has anyon seen the new Canadian comedy sitcom called "Corner Gas? I have to tell you, this is one of the best sitcoms I have seen in a long time. It's about a small farm community in Saskatchewan called "dog River" and there are about 6 major characters that make up the stories and a few other add-on actors. The humour is off, but funny. If you see it once, you have to watch it every night. It's actually been on since 2003 but has just showed up recently on a channel I watch, but it's late at night so I have to stay up to watch it.

I love corner gas. I've watched it since it originally came out. Sadly the show is ending the season. I've purchased every season on dvd and watch it over and over again. I also happened to get my boyfriend hooked on it. I had to get him copies of the seasons on DVD because it wasnt aired in the states at the time.

I've pretty much seen them all now and watching the reruns. I never get sick of watching it. I was just in Alberta and stayed in a town that reminded me a bit of Dog River. There were no street lights any where lol. I wish the final season would come to american tv, I'd love to see the season finale. Do you know if they are going to have another season after that?

There will be a total of Six seasons for Corner Gas. Season 5 just ended and they have announced that Season six which will air in the 2008-2009 season in Canada. It isnt canceled because it was failing the writer/producer/owner of the series has stated he wants to stop while it in its prime so people remember it well not a show that dragged on and on.
