What games did you play when you were a child and what were they called? / myLot

With modern computer game consoles children don't seem to play the old games anymore. Stuff like skipping for girls and marbles for the boys. One game I remember tig where you had to chase some other kid to touch him (tig) and he then had to chase someone else etc. Waht games did you play and what were they called?

yeee, it was a very good time. I played lots of the versions of packman,bomberman,prince of persiq, mario (the old classic mario on nintendo), and now from time on time i played the remakes of the mario...

My kids an I still find time to play Old Maid and Red Light Green Light for moving activities. Other than that we play Uno, Cards games, Dominoes, Sorry, Yahtzee, Monopoly, Life, and Operation. Even though it's a crazy world with all these gadgets that are coming out more and more, I don't buy a lot of them. I don't believe children should have every game console or the newest PC games available because it would just mean that they have something else to do and sit on their butts longer. I don't want my children to suffer through weight problems like so many of us have had to do in my family.
