It supposedly reveals the secret of life and being successful. Basically, it is about the law of attraction and how positive thinking reaps positive rewards. Interesting...but I don't buy it totally.

I have not read it, though I have heard good things about it. I do intend to read it, I just haven't gotten around to it...

I heard about it, but then I read "How to Win Friends and Influence People" and I did not wholly believe that. These books contain man's information on how to gain success, but it involves more than attracting people. I read lots of those self-help books but a person has to have the spark inside of him to work. You cannot follow directions, in some it might work, but in others, it would seem like hyprocrisy and there has to be outside influences, like enough money to start the ball rolling.

I have not yet read this book but I have read the book where it was based on entitled "The science of getting rich". It tells how our thoughts are powerful energies that can make things happen. That the resources of the world are more than enough and it is in the power of our thoughts that we can have all of the things that we really want.

Hello lolalolacherrycola :) I believe in the Law of Attraction. I believe in visions (such as having vision boards). But I believe more than that. I believe that we also should work hard and smart to achieve our goals. Vision without action is just like a dream. You have to do more than just positive thinking. You have to act. Act according to your goals/visions, and opportunities will present itself to you (or they call it, "the universe responding to what you want")

I believe. I try so hard to live by the law of attraction. I am not doing that great, but I start over each day. I keep a little book in the bathroom and when I get up in the morn I write one thing I am thankful for everyday. I also lay in bed before I go to sleep and imagine my life how I want it. I have had one experience where something came true from a thought. I wasn't concentrating on it, but I was trying really hard to follow the guidelines. It happened and I immediately credited it to that.

I have not read it but from the description you gave what it is about on one of your responses it sounds a lot like the "The Power Of Positive Thinking" by Vincent Peale. That I have read.
