Hi,
thanks for coming by to read this discussion, hopefully you can help me out.
I have dialup internet. I don't like missing my calls while I am online. I downloaded Dialup Phonetray 2.29 a month ago, they have a 30 day trial offer. Well it's over today and I don't want to pay for this service. There has to be a free service out there?
really appreciate any help you have to offer. If there is something you want to talk about like cracks or something then message me privately if you don't feel comfortable posting anything here. Just add me as friend first then you can message me.
Thanks again in advance for any help!

My MIL in NS has something like the program you are talking about.. I think she got it from the company that she has her dialup with.. Have you tried talking to the ISP to see if they have something free they can offer you?
If not, have you tried to see the prices of highspeed? they are not that much more then dialup now a day if it is available in your area.. I have a student package from rogers, i have basic digital cable, phone, unlimited long distance in north america anytime of day, and 7Mbs cable internet for 99$ a month .. It is a fairly good deal because i was paying that before i found out about the deal WITHOUT the cable or the long distance!! for just the internet and the phone. Sorry i couldnt be more help, if this did n't help at all.

Yeah good idea I should call Bell and see if they have a program for me.
We can't get highspeed here at our house. It's not connected to the network. I have called and called they tell me we can't get it here yet. We live in the country in Ontario.

I now have highspeed internet but when I was on dial up I used a program called Internet answering machine it is by call wave ..I downloaded it from download.com and If I remember right it was free for 30 days and it was only 3-4$ when I went ahead and bought it. You might check and see if it is still available. I kno its not free but not expensive either and it worked good for my use. Sorry I don't know where to get any free ones at. Hope this will help ya.

Have you tried CallWave? I know when I had dial up internet, they had a free program. But that has been a while. You might check them out and see. Good luck to you.
