Lying to get a better job????

Have you ever lied or embelished your resume or said you had experience to to the job but didn't? I seen this on a talk show that many people have lied about their qualifications to get a job and it worked. I'm just surprised that it did work and wonder if anyone has ever done that?

I've never lied to get a job. My resume speaks for itself. I do embellish where applicable - as in I do use the titles I've been given (i.e. MIS - Mangager of Information Systems) or unofficial titles: currently I'm an Administrative Assistant but also technically the Network Administrator since I am the one manages the network. -Tink
