A box of chocolates, to eat while you are giving a foot massage with good smelling lotion, with a favorite cd playing.

I really wish there was a huge amount of responses for this one because I'm totally stumped for Valentines day. I'm a terrible gift-giver in general, and a holiday with such a stigma as a 'romantic' holiday is kind of putting the pressure on.
I know I'm not going to be able to see my man on the actual day itself, which is kind of a relief in a way, but that makes me wonder if that means that there's more stress on the way for the weekend after when I will get to see him?
Not to mention the fact that I'll feel terrible if I don't do anything for him/get him something and he gets me something. I don't really care if it goes the other way around. I'm not a big fan of flowers & candy and the whole nine yards... I just don't want to miss an opportunity to show affection because I'm bad at holidays. :P
A suggestion for sweet, simple, cute & meaningful, maybe a card that isn't a generic 'happy valentines' card. Maybe something like those 'thinking of you' or 'just because' cards. 'Valentines day' as a whole is a little overdone if you ask me. I think if I do anything for Valentines this year it would be something like that, maybe accompanied with something small and fattening. haha

Thanks for your interest and answer CheshireKat. In fact I am a good gift giver but not all the time. I usually prepare very specific things which cannot be done again and again and it would take a while to think and make a new one :) I just feel so unlucky for being a student after all. Yesterday I saw she got a guitar for me, it was something that I have been planning to buy for months and I just wanna give her the best thing possible..

we will exchange the smiles on our lips. I think there is no better gift than an unforgettable exchange of smile. the smile of love. the smile of valentines day. I will try to make movie of that smile to recall the day of lovers of valentines.
