This year's Chinese New year's eve fall on February 6, 2008. Welcome to the Chinese New Year of Rat On Feb.7.
Visit family & friends on the sixth to tenth days. Also eat fish & noodle on the 7th day to promote logevity & success. Celebrate the lantern festival on the 15th night.

Thanks for additional information. I was in the Chinese area yesterday to see the preparation for their New Year. our people already adopted and copied some of the customs and traditions of the Chinese. Happy New Year!
